Game Mechanics

Most of the audience for this guide can be called gamers of some sort, albeit with a fairly wide range of experience with RPGs. I will try to explain the game mechanics simply and succinctly for readers of all levels of familiarity; additional details can be ironed out between an individual player and the GM at the time of character creation. I will make occasional direct references to or comparisons with Dungeons and Dragons as I go through the mechanics; if you don’t get these references, don’t worry – all will be made clear one way or another for everyone.
